FAQ

Q: Who are you and what do you do?

A: I'm Aequus Nox, a creative developer and startup founder who also explores occult practices. I build ritual technology tools that merge astrological data and astronomical timing with modern software development, while approaching everything through an alternative aesthetic. I'm currently developing the Aequalia ecosystem of apps and launching the Technomage Citadel course.

Q: Have you been on other podcasts or interviews?

A: Yes, I've done various interviews over the years discussing my work at the intersection of technology and occult practice. Most recently, I was interviewed for the official Hadean Press podcast (releasing Friday, September 26 at 16:00 GMT+1) to discuss Jake Stratton-Kent's profound impact on my magical practice and development, particularly his Night School series.

Q: What is your involvement in the occult community?

A: I love and support publishers like Hadean Press and have relationships with various practitioners and authors in the space. Jake Stratton-Kent and Mat are among my biggest inspirations. Check my resources page for other peers and influences I've learned from over the years.

About My Work

Q: What is Technomage Citadel?

The course was influenced by my intense, nonstop academic and serious practice since I started, which was informed by my amazing network of peers and resources to texts and community.

Q: What are the Aequalia apps (Citadel API, IO, Ghost Socket OS)?

A: These are ritual technology tools I'm developing that merge astrological and astronomical timing with modern software. However, I don't share the proprietary details of how they're built - they represent my personal IP and business projects.

Q: What is Night Watch?

A: My development streaming series focused on creative coding, startup building, and security research. It's about learning in public and sharing the real experience of building a tech startup with an alternative aesthetic.
